Condition (used): fair for age  (see below) - fairly minor edge/corner wear, general wear, discolouration and grubbiness to the cover and external spine, presentation sticker to inside front cover "1909 Presented To Ethel Batten By Bethel School Treharris", heavy discolouration to flyleaf and end page, the title page is a little grubby, otherwise marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with moderate/light tanning, occasional foxing and light grubbiness throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "James Nisbet & Co Limited London".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket - very interesting and rare old book with frontispiece  - may be of some interest to a collector.
