Condition (used):  fair/good for age (see below) - no dust jacket, the cover/spine has some very minor edge/corner wear and general light wear/marks/grubbiness/discolouration, may be missing a flyleaf, former retailer's marks  to the contents page, some very minor paper separation at the back inside cover/endpage (binding unaffected), otherwise the book is quite good with light marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair/good with light to moderate tanning throughout with occasional light foxing.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "London: Longmans Green and Co ....1889".
