Antique Book - Pitman's Shorthand Reporter Centenary Edition - Circa 1900s
Condition (used): poor/barely fair for age (see below) - the cover/external spine has heavy corner/edge wear, general heavy wear / marks / grubbiness / discolouration etc including some damage to the cloth spine (5cm missing from the bottom) minor pencil writing to the front, there are pencil marks and doodles to the inside covers/endpage/flyleaf and some paper separation between covers and flyleaf / endpage (internal binding loose but still holding), otherwise marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with some minor to moderate age tanning throughout and some occasional light foxing.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "London: Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons".
Other information:
NB: the actual colour is more green rather than the blue the scan would suggest
- a rare softback book "Pitman's Shorthand Reporter (Being Part 2 Of Pitman's Shorthand Instructor) With advanced rules and lists of abbreviations for the verbatim shorthand-writer, and special lists of phrases, etc, compiled to meet various professional and commercial requirements"- we are not entirely sure of the exact age but would suggest circa 1900s - may be of some interest to a collector.
