Condition (used): poor for age  (see below) - SOLD AS SEEN - missing the front cover and spine, back cover detached, some edge/corner wear, marks, grubbiness, damage to the cover, pages up to 16 are detached, significant damage to the pages in the first part of the book (to approximately page 60 and becoming significantly better in the centre portions), otherwise marks, grubbiness and wear commensurate with age and use - the pages are poor/barely fair/fair with light tanning throughout, occasional light damage, occasional light marks, occasional light foxing and occasional grubbiness.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "London William Little 198 Strand July 10 1851".

Other information: hardback - very interesting and rare old book with many period b/w illustrations and articles of historical significance - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:  42cm (length).

Approximate weight:  2860g.
