£25.00Vintage Block Puzzle - Unrecognised Retro French Pictures In Wooden Box - Circa 1920s

Condition (used): generally fair/good for age in fair/good wooden box (see below) - complete with 6 solution sheets (including one on the lid) - the box is a little worn with some minor edge/corner wear, the paper label to the lid is somewhat worn with some peeling/grubbiness and minor damage and there are general light marks/grubbiness and one corner's dove joints need re-glueing, the solutions sheets are generally quite good with occasional minor tears and some light grubbiness/marks, the blocks themselves seem to pretty good with fairly light wear including corner/edge wear and some minor peeling, otherwise minor marks and grubbiness commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  5 of the pictures have a little logo in the bottom right corner "AL".

Other information:  great old set and quite rare with fantastic retro illustrations, we are uncertain as to the age and provenance but would suggest France circa 1920s - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:  29cm (box length), 20cm (box width).

Approximate weight:  1220g.
