Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - the dust jacket has corner/edge wear, tanning, foxing and some tears and is clipped, some minor edge/corner wear and a little fading/discolouration to the cover and spine, some discolouration and foxing to the inside covers and throughout, presentation sticker to the inside front cover (dated 1949), retailer’s sticker ditto, otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with some tanning. 

Identifying marks or labels etc: "Collins Clear-type Press London and Glasgow".

Other information: hardback - this is a really interesting and very rare old book with a period black and white front plate.
