Condition (used):  fair/good for age (see below) - some fairly minor edge/corner wear to the cover and external spine, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally good with moderate tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Thirty-sixth Edition January 1944 ....Made & Printed In Great Britain For Hodder & Stoughton Limited".

Other information: hardback book without dust jacket and quite rare - seems to be printed on wartime grade of paper.
