Condition (used):  generally fair for age (see below) - no dust jacket, the cover/spine has some very minor edge/corner wear and general fairly light wear/marks/grubbiness/discolouration, significant blocks of tanning/foxing to flyleaf and end page, otherwise the book is good with light marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally very good with very light tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "First Published 1947".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket -  a rare book and believed to be a first edition - may be of some interest to a collector.
