Condition (used): Poor for age (see below) - SOLD AS SEEN - edge/corner wear, minor damage, flyleaf - title page and possiby other front pages missing (first present page is the frontispiece/7a), some interior pages missing (at least two), marks and light grubbiness to the cover and spine, crayon scribbles to inside front cover, and occasionally throughout, otherwise marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally barely fair with occasional light damage, light foxing and light tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc: none - missing pages.

Other information: hardback book with many attractive period b/w illustrations and some colour plates by John Hassall, shame about the condition.

Approximate dimensions: 26cm (height).
