Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - the cover/external spine has some minor edge/corner wear, marks, discolouration/fading including some slight damage to the top/bottom of the spine, a pencil cross to back cover, one ballpoint line to inside cover, pencil name and price to flyleaf, there is a slight slackness to the binding including 8cm of paper separation between inside back cover and end page, the pages are generally fair/good with light tanning throughout and occasional light foxing, otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "London MacMillan And Co Ltd 1946".
Other information: hardback without dust jacket - good book believed to be a First Edition with great period b/w illustrations by Stuart Tresilian - may be of some interest to a collector.
