Condition (used):  fair/good for age  (see below) - the dust jacket is unclipped (11/- Net) and is a little worn with edge/corner wear, general wear/grubbiness/discolouration with some damage around the edges, the cover/spine has very minor edge/corner wear, general very light wear, the exterior of the pages has some very light foxing which is not substantially visible on the interior, the book has general marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally good with light tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "London Victor Gollancz Ltd 1949".

Other information: hardback with dust jacket - "copyright 1949 by Daphne Du Maurier" -  very interesting old and quite rare book, believed to be a first edition - may be of some interest to a collector.
