Condition (used):  barely fair for age (see below) - the cover has edge/corner wear and marks including a missing external layer to the spine (internal binding is sound) and related damage to the back cover, ink name to the "Belongs to" section, the pages are generally good/fair with occasional light grubbiness, very minor tanning throughout and occasional light foxing, otherwise fairly minor marks and light grubbiness commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Made and Printed In Great Britain By Purnell and Sons Ltd".

Other information:  hardback book without dust jacket - lovely book by Sheila Hodgetts and with fantastic period colour illustrations by E jeffery  - may be of some interest to a collector.
