Condition (used):  very good for age in barely fair/fair box (see below) - the packs are COMPLETE with 4 jokers, a score pad and a Sunday Times Amended Rules Of Canasta booklet which may or may not be original - the box is somewhat worn with some moderate edge/corner wear, moderate to heavy wear / marks / grubbiness / discolouration etc including 1 crumpled corner to the lid, missing folding flap to the front side and some significant discolouration, the score pad is well used but still has a few unused sheets, the booklet is a little worn but is generally in very good condition, the cards are in a barely used condition with extremely minor marks / grubbiness commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Thomas De La Rue & Co Ltd London" (on Ace of Clubs).

Other information:  a good set of playing cards from De La Rue which includes a copy of the Sunday Times Amended Rules Of Canasta Revised Edition 1952 As Played At Crockford's Club - we are uncertain as to the age but would suggest circa 1950s to 1960s - may be of some interest to a collector.
