Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - there are no chips, the transfer is good and it displays well but all the white surface area is subject to crazing, sadly a common problem with this product, otherwise minor wear commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  black on white oval mark "Magic City Designed by Susan Williams Ellis Portmeirion Pottery Stoke on Trent Made In England".

Other information: a very decorative retro item in the Magic City pattern fired in moulded earthenware with transfer-printed decoration in enamels, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis and made by Portmeirion Potteries Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, launched 1966 - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:     18.5cm (diameter) 2.25cm (height).
