Condition (used): barely fair for age (see below) - job lot of items and SOLD AS FOUND - NB: CUPS ONLY NO SAUCERS - the transfers are good and they display well but all parts of the white surface areas are subject to a fine crazing, sadly a common problem with this product, the tall mug has a 0.5cm chip to the rim, one coffee cup has two small chips to its rim and the other has a tiny chip to the rim and another to the basal rim, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Magic City Designed by Susan Williams Ellis Portmeirion Pottery Stoke on Trent Made In England".

Other information: very decorative retro items in the Magic City pattern in Serif shape fired in moulded earthenware with transfer-printed decoration in enamels, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis and made by Portmeirion Potteries Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, launched 1966 - may be of some interest to a collector.
