Condition (used): fair/good condition for age (see below) - the fabric is a little faded, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc: none.

Other information:  this is a most peculiar item - judging by the small hook on the back we think it might be meant to be worn as a brooch - the string is pulled to raise the poor lady's skirt to reveal her lacy bloomers by means of a spring mechanism - she appears to be made from composition giving her a certain age, somewhere about the 1930s/1940s we think - may be of some interest to a collector.
