Condition (used):  good/fair for age (see below) - the ceramic element is good but has some sticker residue to the back, there is some discolouration/tanning to the frill trim, otherwise very minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  none visible.

Other information:  a good half doll, probably from Japan, we have listed this as a tea cosy but in all honesty we are not certain of its intended function - it looks a little large for an egg, we are not entirely sure as to its age but would suggest circa 1920s to 1930s.

Approximate dimensions:    6cm (doll height), 17cm (total height).

Approximate weight:  40g.
