Condition (used): very good for age in fair box (see below) - this set is COMPLETE with 6 metal puzzles, the solutions are in the lid, the box is somewhat worn with some minor edge/corner wear, damage to 2 corners of the lid, some tape marks/residue to the lid, general light to moderate wear/marks/grubbiness, otherwise very minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "JLR Ltd Made In England".
Other information: great little set from Merit, this is the same design box as later sets except that the later ones (1960s - 1970s Cat No. 4342) have the Merit logo above the word "Metal" on the lid, we are therefore uncertain as to the age of this set but would suggest circa 1950s to 1960s - may be of some interest to a collector.
