Condition (used):  generally fair for age in fair box (see below) - this set is INCOMPLETE NB this auction is for the inner box with the playing pieces and DOES NOT include the board or outer box - we are not entirely sure about the contents as the instructions sheet is missing but we believe that other than the board this set is missing one of the plastic squares and 1 metal square - this game includes the following elements: 4 metal playing pieces; 2 cards with two spinners each; 3/4 plastic squares; 11/12 metal squares - the box is little worn with some moderate corner/edge wear, general light marks/wear/grubbiness/discolouration including 1 damaged corner to the lid, some light pencil marks, slight bowing to the lid, there is some fairly light surface corrosion/tarnishing to the metal parts including the spinners, some slight paint loss to the playing pieces, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "© 1938 The Lone Ranger Inc Parker Brothers Inc Salem Mass ...Made In USA".

Other information:  very interesting old game from Parker Brothers and now quite rare on this side of the Atlantic - may be of some interest to a collector.
