Condition (used): barely fair/fair for age in poor/barely fair box (see below) - INCOMPLETE - because of the way this is cut is hard to tell exactly how many pieces are missing but there are at least two and at most four pieces missing, the box is quite worn with some edge/corner wear, some crumpling, ink writing, some damage at one end, all the pieces have the no. "4" written in pencil on the back, otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Waddington's Fortune No.288".
Other information: interesting old puzzle - may be of some interest to a collector.
