Condition (used):  good for age (see below) - would benefit from a clean (see photo) - no apparent chips or cracks - otherwise light general wear commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Canada"; "Japan" (see photo).

Other information:  recently acquired as part of a large collection of novelty cruet sets - we are unsure as to the exact provenance but these pieces appear to date from around the 1930s to 50s and are Japanese in origin - these ones are fashioned as logs, with little squirrels for handles, and were presumably sold as tourist pieces in Canada - charming ceramic 2 piece set with plastic stoppers (see photo) - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:   11cm ( height).

Approximate weight:  180g (set).
