Condition (used): fair/good for age (see below) - one little chip to edge of left pannier (see photo) - there are couple of other small areas that look like little chips but, on closer inspection, appear to be patches missed by the glaze - missing one cork stopper - would benefit from a clean (see photo) - no apparent major chips or cracks other than those already described - otherwise light general wear commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Made In Italy" (see photo).
Other information: recently acquired as part of a large collection of novelty cruet sets - we are unsure as to the exact provenance but these pieces appear to date from around the 1950s and are Italian in origin - these ones are fashioned as a donkey, with baskets in panniers acting as salt and pepper pots - cute retro ceramic 3 piece set with cork stoppers, although one is missing (see photo) - may be of some interest to a collector.
