Condition (used):  fair/good for age (see below) - there are few patches  around the rim of the elephant where the chrome plating has worn away to reveal the brass under metal, otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  none.

Other information: an interesting metal letter opener in (what we believe to be) chrome plated brass with decorative enameled elephant, possibly Indian, we are not entirely sure of the age but would suggest circa early to mid 20th century - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:    17cm (length) 5cm (width).

Approximate weight:  92g.
