fair for age (see below) - some edge/corner wear, discolouration and grubbiness to the cover and spine, the fabric veneer to the cover is loose in places, paper separation to the inside covers (binding intact), otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use the pages are generally good with occasional wear, grubbiness, very light foxing and some tanning throughout.
Other information: hardback book - very interesting compilation of original popular music scores bound together in one volume. This is obviously somebody's collection that they have had professionally bound, this volume contains some really interesting and rare titles often with fantastic period illustrated covers.
