Condition (used): good for age (see below) - no apparent major chips or cracks - a couple of little firing blemishes - otherwise light general wear commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:   stamped "Foreign" and likely of Japanese origin.

Other information:  recently acquired as part of a large collection of colourful novelty ceramics - we are unsure as to the exact provenance but most pieces appear to date from around the 1930s to 50s and these ones are likely Japanese in origin - fashioned in the form of a lady carrying a teapot (see photo) - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:   14cm (total height); 8cm (width at base); 7cm (depth at base).

Approximate weight:  205g.
