Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - there is a very fine crazing throughout and some related underglaze staining to the underside in the foot, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Salad Days James Kent Ltd Staffordshire Made In England".

Other information: a decorative and very rare little hors d'oeuvre dish from James Kent, "James Kent's Salad Days is an attractive range of Hors-d'œuvre sets and other tableware, very much in the vein of Midwinter's salad ware". Source: a contemporaneous advert - we are not entirely sure of the exact age but would suggest circa 1963 - may be of some interest to a collector.
