Condition (used):  good for age (see below) although we have no idea what use this was designed for (!) - the "cups" look too small for eggs, you couldn't put water or foodstuffs in them as they are both joined and hollow (with a hole in the base!) and candles would be too angled - otherwise intact with some light wear commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  stamped "Foreign" to base and the numbers "8493" are embossed on the bunny's bottom (see photo).

Other information:  recently acquired as part of a large collection of colourful novelty ceramics - we are unsure as to the exact provenance but most pieces appear to date from around the 1930s to 50s and this one is probably Japanese in origin - would make an unusual Easter gift - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:   6cm (bunny height); 10cm (overall length/width of piece).

Approximate weight:  55g.
