Condition (used): fair/good for age (see below) - some light discolouration, the odd loose thread, otherwise fairly minor marks/grubbiness commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "BDV Cigarettes".

Other information:   "Godfrey Philips Ltd introduced B.D.V cigarettes in the early 1900s and it proved to be a very popular brand and was dropped in 1948. B.D.V stands for BOYD & Dibrell Virginia who were the US suppliers of their tobacco, alternatively some say it stands for the Latin words "Benedictus dominus vobiscum" meaning the pipe of peace"  - we are uncertain as to the exact age but would suggest circa 1920s - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:  7cm (typical length), 4.5 (typical width).

Approximate weight:  less than 50g.
