Condition (used): generally fair for age (see below) - no dust jackets, the covers/spines have some fairly minor edge/corner wear and general moderate wear / marks / grubbiness / discolouration including some flaking and degradation to the material in the spines, one is partially detached, some of the end pages and flyleaves have some moderate to heavy foxing, some have paper separation on the inside covers/flyleaves/end pages, otherwise the books are generally quite good with light to moderate marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair to good with light tanning throughout and occasional light to moderate foxing.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "American Technical Society Chicago 1905".

Other information: hardbacks without dust jackets - a very interesting and rare set with period b/w illustrations and and plates - "Cyclopedia of Applied Electricity A Practical Guide for Electricians, mechanics, engineers, and telephone operators, and all others interested in Electricity Prepared by a corps of Experts, Electrical Engineers and Designers Illustrated with over Two Thousand Engravings" - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:  each volume: 25cm (length) 17.5cm (width) 4.5cm (height).

Approximate weight:  7600g.
