Condition (used): barely fair for age (see below) - one small 1cm ship to the underside rim, fine crazing throughout, some under-glaze staining (mostly to the interior) and some runs to the transfer/paint to the rim, otherwise marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Amherst Japan B&L Middleport Pottery England".
Other information: really nice item, 'Amherst Japan' pattern printed and painted in the Imari palette with handpainted finish to the transfer, possibly circa 1840. NB: we currently have 1 of these items in stock.
