Condition (used): generally fair for age in barely fair box (see below) – we are uncertain as to completeness, there was probably supposed to be a pack of cards included, this is sadly not present, this set does include five card inner trays, a box of "Jetons Pour Jeux" (possibly non-original) and a good selection of bone gaming pieces/betting chips - what you see is what you get, the box is quite worn with some edge/corner wear, general marks/grubbiness including a little denting/warping to the lid and one or two minor patches of damage, the inner box with the betting chips is possibly non-original and has two damaged corners to its lid, otherwise the contents are generally fair/good with fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Paris JFJ (logo) Marquee Déposée France".
Other information: great old game and quite rare, the logo is a bit confused so we may be misreading it, it looks like a "J" followed by another "J" inverted and over which there is an "F" - we are uncertain as to the age but would suggest circa 1900s - may be of some interest to a collector.
