Condition (used): fair for age  (see below) - missing dust jacket, possibly a retired library copy since the flyleaf is removed, some minor edge/corner wear and light marks to the cover and external spine, sticker to inside cover, heavy discolouration to title page, illustration on page 27 is partially coloured in with crayon, otherwise marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with light tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Collins Clear-Type Press".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket - great old book with really attractive period bw illustrations and colour plates and frontispiece - may be of some interest to a collector.
