Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - the dust jacket is clipped and is a little worn with edge/corner wear, general wear/grubbiness/discolouration with, the cover/spine has very minor edge/corner wear, general very light wear and some light foxing, the exterior of the pages has some foxing which is not substantially visible on the interior, the book has an ink inscription to the flyleaf (dated 1958), general marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair good with light tanning and some foxing throughout.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Cassell London".
Other information: hardback with dust jacket - "© The Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1958 First Published 1958" - very interesting old book, believed to be a first edition - may be of some interest to a collector.
