Condition (used): barely fair/fair for age (see below) - no dust jacket, the cover/spine has some edge/corner wear and general wear/marks/grubbiness/discolouration with particularly significant discolouration to the spine and to the top both back and front (liquid stains), there is some damage to the spine (some paper separation to both sides), liquid staining from the red of the cover has penetrated to a very few pages of the book staining them at the top, paper separation at frontispiece causing and leaf 1/2 and introduction plate to become detached (internal binding intact), paper separation at 702 and 703, otherwise the book is fair with fairly light marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with light tanning throughout and very occasional light foxing.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "London: 4 Bouverie Street Fleet St".
Other information: hardback without dust jacket - a good old book book with fantastic period b/w illustrations and colour frontispiece and some plates - "Woman's Magazine and Girl's Own Paper" - may be of some interest to a collector.
