Condition (used): fair/good for age  (see below) - some fairly minor edge/corner wear and some light marks to the cover and external spine, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair/good with light tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Ward, Lock & Co Limited".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket, attractive children's book with many attractive period colour & b/w illustrations and photographs including some colour plates and frontispiece - circa late 1940s to early 1950s - may be of some interest to a collector.
