Condition (used): fair for age  (see below) - some fairly minor edge/corner wear and some light marks to the cover and external spine, pages 39-42 are detached, significant discolouration to flyleaf and endpage, otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with light tanning throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Published by Sampson Low".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket, attractive children's book with many attractive period single colour & b/w illustrations - circa 1940s - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:  25cm (length).
