Condition (used): fair for age  (see below) - some fairly minor edge/corner wear and some light marks to the cover and external spine, the colour plate seems to be missing, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with moderate tanning throughout and occasional foxing.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Edited By Mary England Frederick warne & Co Copyright London 1939".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket, attractive and rare children's book with many attractive period b/w illustrations and a stunning cover illustration - may be of some interest to a collector.
