Condition (used):  poor/barely fair for age (see below) - SOLD AS SEEN - some edge/corner wear (the sealing tape around the glass has come loose in two places), some minor marks/grubbiness, the stand has snapped off at the hinge (included but not in the photo for some reason) and writing in ink on the reverse "From Aunty Jane To Margaret", otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  none.

Other information: interesting and decorative retro item: a printed and illustrated sampler with the following message:

"'Tis Said, Short Savings Oft Contain True Wisdom Of The Mind So In This One Short Message, May You Find Much True Friendship Find"

- We are uncertain of the date but would fairly confidently suggest circa 1930s -1940s - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:  9cm (length), 7cm (width).

Approximate weight:  less than 50g.

Price £10.
