Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - the cover has some very minor edge/corner wear with light marks/grubbiness and some light creasing to one corner, the pages are generally good with occasional very light foxing, otherwise minor marks and commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Copyright HP Gibson & Sons Ltd London...Second Edition: completely revised in accordance with the current Official Laws Of Chess authorized by the International Chess Federation 1955".

Other information:   soft back booklet that would originally have accompanied a Gibson Chess Set -  may be of some interest to a collector.
