Condition (used): generally good for age in poor box (see below) - we are not at all sure how complete this set is - we believe that originally there were 6 compartments each with one puzzle, this set has 8 puzzles and 6 loose individual parts, we are not at all sure as to the originality of any of these puzzles, there are no instructions/solutions - the box is quite worn with edge/corner wear, damage to 2 corners to the lid including a partial split along the edge and general moderate wear/marks/grubbiness, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "HPG & S Ltd London Made In England".

Other information:   good old puzzle set from Gibson's, we are uncertain as to the exact age but would suggest circa 1930s to 1950s -  may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:   14.5cm (box length) 11.5cm (box width) 2.25cm (box height).

Approximate weight:  200g.
