Condition (used): generally good for age in barely fair/fair box (see below) - incomplete - seems to be missing a few items, namely: candle; needle; 2 carriers; 1 convex lens; mask; 3 filters; stage; tissue paper; cotter pin, 1 screen, this set includes the following elements: 2 plastic graduated bases; 1 plastic slit; 1 metal candle stand; 1 metal screen base; 1 plastic base joint; 1 metal lens holder; 1/2 plastic double convex lens; 1 plastic concave lens; 2 plastic lens holders; 1/3 plastic carriers; 1 printed card individual box; 1 glas mirror; 1 metal diffuse mirror; 1 plastic mirror holder; 1 metal slit frame;1 plastic gear; 1 plastic half prism; 1 card prism box; 1 instructions booklet - the box is quite worn with some corner/edge wear, general moderate  marks / wear / grubbiness / discolouration including one detached end flap, a small rectangular hole to the back, the instructions leaflet is slightly worn with some tape residue/marks, otherwise the contents are good with minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying Marks & Labels etc: "Mettoy Playcraft London England © 1971 The Mettoy Company Ltd".

Other Information: an interesting old science set and now very rare.
