Condition (used):  generally good for age in fair  box (see below) - this set is INCOMPLETE missing 3 black pieces (numbers 2, 4, 5 ) and there are no original instructions although a previous owner has provided a card with the basic rules of the game "Lic - Nik A 1930's (we think it is earlier) table-top game. The Table was marked out using string and chalk ( see box top). Each player placed his/her numbered pieces on the base line, then each in turn used their "pusher" to advance their pieces towards their opponent, with a view to replacing them. Opponents could knock each others pieces out of the way providing it was the same number. The unnumbered piece in the triangle could be used to knock away any of the opponent's pieces"- this game includes the following elements: 11/14 wooden pieces (6 numbered white [1 to 6] 3 numbered black [1, 3 & 6], 2 unmarked pieces [white and black]); 2 wooden pushers with detachable rods (black and white)  1 length of string; two pieces of chalk - the box is a little worn with corner/edge wear, general moderate marks/wear/grubbiness/discolouration including a few marks to the illustration label on the lid and some light foxing to the box interior, the wooden parts are all very good although the white pusher has a small split near the hole for the rod, the chalks are well used, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Patented (crossed out) Name Registered as Trade Mark British Manufacturer Glevum Series made In England".
