Condition (used): generally fair/good for age in poor box (see below) - INCOMPLETE and sold as seen for spares - this edition contains the following elements: 6 wooden hotels, 19 wooden houses, 10 Community Chest cards, 10 Chance cards, a good quantity of money, an almost full set of properties - missing Old Kent Road, 3 card and wooden tokens, 2 dice and two instructions leaflets for the short and full games - the box is extremely worn with corner/edge wear, extensive damage and general grubbiness and marks including some pencil writing to the lid, the leaflets are quite worn with moderate tanning, folds and creases and the full instructions have some tape repaired damage, otherwise the contents are generally all good with minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Monopoly Trade Mark Patent No.453689" on box and "Manufactured In England by John Waddington Limited" on instructions.
Other information: good vintage game for spares, the properties seem to be from a later edition since they are "British Railways" - may be of some interest to a collector.
