Condition (used): generally good/very good for age in fair box (see below) - believed to be complete, this edition contains the following elements: 1 folding board incorporating 2 separate tracks, 2 wooden dice, 6 owners club memberships cards, 12 plastic horses, 14 veterinary surgeon's report cards, 20 lease cards, 20 disadvantage cards, 36 trainer's report cards (18 red and 18 blue), 48 rainbow betting slips, 20 black advantage cards, 20 red, 20 blue, 20 yellow, 1 barely used totaliser sheet pad with unused sheets, a good selection of uncounted money, 2 rule sheets for the short game, 2 for the full game and 1 packing slip explaining the new style of board - the box has some minor corner/edge wear and general light grubbiness and marks including some tape marks/residue and one damaged corner to the lid, the playing surfaces of the board are very good and the horses are undamaged, the instruction leaflets are a little worn and have folds and are a little creased, otherwise the contents are all very good/excellent with very minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "The Great Race Game Of Totopoly Reg'd Trade Mark Copyright © 1949 by John Waddington Ltd" on box and "Manufactured by John Waddington Limited World Copyright" on instructions.
Other information: fantastic vintage game, this set would appear to come from the 1967 - 1972 period, the horses are semi-flat plastic, with stick-on numbers - may be of some interest to a collector.
