Condition (used):  good for age (see below) - quite grubby so would benefit from a clean (see photo) - no apparent major chips or cracks (we believe that the little indentations to base of the pepper pot where caused when it was rested on appropriate furniture for firing) - otherwise light general wear commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Made In Japan" (see photo).

Other information:  recently acquired as part of a large collection of novelty cruet sets - we are unsure as to the exact provenance but these pieces appear to date from around the 1930s to 50s and are Japanese in origin - these ones are fashioned as a fruit basket - retro ceramic 3 piece set with cork stoppers (see photo) - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:   8.5cm (maximum basket length); 8cm (basket height including handle).

Approximate weight:  112g (set). 

Price £12.
