Condition (used): very good for age (see below) - there is NO LID, the manufacturing process, either by design or error, has caused some ridging to the body which is more noticeable on the interior, the effect on the exterior is to blur the transfers slightly, otherwise very minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: there is a mark (see photo) but sadly we are unable to make it out.
Other information: the lid is missing and would probably have been a simple cork top - an interesting, attractive and reasonably rare item from an unknown manufacturer, probably English - may be of some interest to a collector - we are not entirely sure of the exact age but would suggest circa 1960s to 1970s.
